USING THE RIGHT LUBRICATION (P39)
Apart from the wet factor, there are a number of considerations
when it comes to lubing up. Here are a few pointers:
Planning on playing in the water: Use silicone-based lubes.
Contrary to what you might think, water does not naturally contribute
to having a wet time. The water tends to wash away your natural
moisture, which requires that you apply lubrication during sex
in the water.
Plan on using sex toys: Silicone-based is best as long as your
toys are not made of the same material. The safest and best alternative
would be water-based lubes as you will be able to play to your
heart’s content without a worry.
The materials of which sex toys are manufactured (especially those
made of jelly and lifelike materials) actually absorb your body’s
natural juices, which requires you to add some lubrication.
Planning vaginal penetration: Use water-based lubrication
Although you’ve got her warmed up pretty well, it does not
mean that she is necessarily going to be wet enough for a jolly
good time. Her natural “wetness” would depend on where
she is in her hormonal cycle and an added bit of moisture will
make things much more fun.
Planning on anal penetration: If you’re planning for a
tight squeeze, your best bet would be an oil-based lubrication
as the rectum tends to absorb lubes of thinner consistencies quicker.
Just make sure that if you are using a condom or sex toy that
they are not made of latex.
Planning on playing with his penis: Water-based or silicone-based
lubrication
Friction is a major factor if you are planning on giving him a
long rub, especially if he’s cut. Some extra moisture on
the penis will ensure that he enjoys the ride.
Planning on oral sex: Go for specially formulated and flavoured
lubrication that promises to tantalize your taste buds.
Prevention is better than cure – so, before you have to
stop half-way for a glass of water to beat the dry patch, stock
up on delicious tasting flavoured lubrication which promises to
keep you sucking for much longer. It is also great for killing
any bad tastes that might linger afterwards.
Have hypersensitive skin or are allergic: Definitely water-based
lubrication
All water-based lubrication is hypoallergenic.
